From April to October, direct flights to Kalamata are available from Amsterdam and many other cities in Northern Europe. During low season you fly to Athens, from which -once the highway has been finished- a two-hour drive will take you to Finikounda.

If you prefer to travel by car, you can board the ferry to Patras in Italy (Ancona, Bari or Brindisi). You should count on spending one night in a hotel or on the ferry.
