Finikounda is a charming small village located towards the western area of the Peloponnese, in the north side of Finikounda Bay.

It was inhabited ages ago and the old name of the village was "Taverna" because of the existent tavern where the merchants and the passers-by used to stop for a rest. Today, it is a modern village with a lot of amenities such as bakeries, restaurants, pastry shops, quiet bars, souvenirs, supermarkets, a general practitioner, an ATM for cash money and a shop with greek and foreign press.

In summer time a lot of visitors flood in, enjoying dinner and coffee next to the blue sea. The marina gives a secure place for your boats to be anchored. For all these reasons Finikounda is "the village of holidays"
